General Administration Department is an important department in the administration of the Panchayat Samiti. Guidance is given to all the departments of the Panchayat Samiti on institutional issues, cases etc. through the General Administration Department and administrative control is maintained on all the departments. The work of this department is as follows- Promotion – To promote junior employees working with the Panchayat Samiti to senior posts as per the provisions of the government, where there is a promotion post. Account-wise inquiry – (In case serious incidents like irregularities, malpractices or embezzlement occur in the work entrusted to them while the employees are working, then it should not be repeated and prevention should be put in place and responsibility should be determined by verifying the truth and falsehood in it and punishment should be fixed for the employees found guilty according to the seriousness of the crime as per the provisions of the government.
