Successful health check-up program for beneficiaries shifted to brick kiln in Palghar district

Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad Palghar, on the orders of 19th December 2024, a special program was organized for the health check-up of the beneficiaries who had migrated to Veetbhatti in Palghar district. For this check-up, health camps were organized in all the eight talukas of the district. Nodal officers were appointed at each place for this.
Chief Executive Officer Ravindra Shinde visited Jamshet (Kamdeepada) in Dahanu taluka. He was accompanied by Praveen Bhavsar (District Program Officer), Mr. Atul Paraskar Kar (Deputy Chief Executive Officer, NREGA), Child Development Project Officer and Taluka Medical Officer. During this visit, the health check-up of the beneficiaries who had migrated to Veetbhatti was conducted.
On this occasion, a detailed health check-up of pregnant women, lactating mothers and children aged 0-6 was conducted by the Health Department. The beneficiaries were interacted with and their problems were understood. The Honorable Chief Executive Officer observed that this examination was conducted in a proper and effective manner. It was directed that henceforth the Health Department and the Women and Child Development Department should jointly organize health check-up camps on the third Thursday of every month. The Chief Executive Officer expressed satisfaction with the arrangements made for the health check-up and appreciated the work of the Health and Women and Child Development Departments for this.
